FAQ

1. What is a group break?

A group break is a group of people (up to 30) who all pay to see a box or boxes of NBA cards be opened. Teams are assigned evenly to the participants of the break (30 entrants = 1 team each, 15 entrants = 2 teams each, etc). Teams are assigned randomly in most cases unless it is a PYT (Pick Your Own Team) break. Participants will receive the cards pulled from the boxes according to the team assigned to them or that they have choses.
EG - Tommy is randomly assigned the Lakers, he will receive all cards pulled for the Lakers.

2. What different kinds of breaks are there?

- Random Team

Teams will be randomised at the start of the break and assigned to participants.

-Pick your Team

Participants will pick their teams before the start of the break.

3. What cards will I receive?

You will receive ALL cards pulled for the team or teams assigned to you. This includes Base, Memorabilia, Autograph, Inserts, etc.

4. How are multi team/no team cards awarded?

If there is more than one player represented on the card the two teams will be put into the randomizer and whoever comes out on top will take the card. If there is no team represented on the card (eg Teams USA or College uniforms) the card will go to to the players current team if they are active or their longest tenured team if they are retired.

5. What if no cards are pulled for my team or teams?

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that everyone will receive cards for participating in the break. However if you are unlucky enough for this to happen, get in touch and we can work something out. We want everyone to have a good experience!

Refunds are not available after the break commences. If you want a refund before the break commences please give us as much notice as possible and we will strive to make it happen but it is not guaranteed.

6. How do I participate in Ankle Breakers Breaks?

Breaks will be listed in the Ankle Breakers Facebook Group and streamed live on Facebook. To secure your spot, comment on the break post and follow the payment options listed on the break.
